In mid October, EAGLE music faculty shared the excitement of the Madison Symphony Orchestra Up Close and Musical program with our Nest – Intermediate students.
In the first of their four-part series at EAGLE in 2023-2024, the MSO Hunt Quartet members first brought the music “up close” into individual classrooms, speaking with the students, playing their instrument, and talking through the musical stories it can tell. Then everyone gathered together in the auditorium for a concert of some very recognizable pieces such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
EAGLE Strings performers were especially happy to dedicate much of their Wednesday morning learning more about their instrument and getting a firsthand look, and listen, to what’s in store for them as they continue to practice their instrument.
