a message from the EAGLE Board
EAGLE School is searching for its newest director.
We are beginning the search for our next director, a process that honors our current leadership while looking ahead to the future. Throughout this process, we are committed to a thoughtful, inclusive search that reflects the values of our community and the aspirations we hold for our school.
A Collaborative Process
Selecting our next director is a responsibility best shared across the community. This search is intentionally collaborative, bringing together input from our constituent groups, including members of the Board, faculty and staff, students, families, and the broader EAGLE community.
Guided by an experienced facilitator, Debbie Millon of Educators Collaborative, we are engaging in a thoughtful process that values multiple perspectives while maintaining clarity and purpose.
Through structured opportunities for feedback and dialogue, we aim to identify a leader who not only brings strong experience, but who also understands and embraces the culture, values, and aspirations of our school.
This approach reflects what matters most to us: a commitment to listening, a respect for community voice, and a belief that strong leadership begins with strong relationships.

Survey of EAGLE Community
EAGLE School officially announces the retirement of Director Andy Wright in June 2027 and sollicits input from our community to guide us in our director search.
MAY 2026
Facilitator Visit
Facilitator to the Board, Debbie Millon of Educators Collaborative, visits EAGLE May 6 & 7 to meet with various constituent groups.
JUNE – JULY 2026
Finalize Leadership Profile
Based on input from constituent groups and facilitator, the Board finalizes the Leadership Profile and develops information for potential candidates.
LATE SUMMER – EARLY FALL
Search officially open
The search process includes recruitment, preliminary interviews, and reference checks.
WINTER 2026-2027
Interviews and school visits
Finalist candidates are invited to EAGLE for interviews and conversations with constituent groups.
EARLY 2027
Director-elect announced
EAGLE begins planning the transation to its newest director.
JULY 1, 2027
New Directorship begins
EAGLE’s newest director steps into their role and prepares to welcome students to the 2027-2028 school year.
