This week, students were treated to a performance by the Bridge Ensemble featuring EAGLE cello teacher, Aaron Fried, a few other Masters & PhD students as well as an undergraduate on piano. The ensemble bridges the gap between classical and jazz by bringing together the Rabin string quartet and a few jazz musicians, and also bridges the gap between higher education and elementary and secondary education by sharing their talents in our schools. Throughout the performance, students were not only treated to a unique musical sound and vibe, they learned about improvisation, composition, and jazz.
