The EAGLE chess team performed superbly at the Madison Country Day School Chess Championship on Saturday. With 97 participants, some of whom traveled from Green Bay, Cedar Rapids, and Chicago, this turned out to be a rather large multi-state competition! Our K-5 team (11 players) tied with the host school, claiming 1st place on tiebreaks. Our K-8 team (5 players) took 2nd place in their section.
