EAGLE was bustling with activity and engagement for two weeks for another season of summer camp!
This year, we offered 37 unique programs to challenge and inspire kids, encompassing the visual and performing arts, STEM, Speech & Debate, Spanish language and culture, yoga, chess, and even climbing our Big Oak as an arborist would. We welcomed 169 students, who collectively registered for 378 camps! It was great fun to see 111 EAGLE students of all grades mingle and make new friends with 58 kids from schools throughout Dane County and beyond.
Whether kids were testing water quality in Environmental Chemistry, putting the finishing touches on a piñata in Fiesta Club, or crafting paper beads in Jewelry Making, everyone was busy learning something new and making memories.
Once again, we were fortunate to be joined by EAGLE alumni, 3 of whom served as Camp Instructors and 13 as Camp Assistants. Even when school is out, EAGLE remains a place of deep thinking and strong community!
