Students at EAGLE have many opportunities to participate in math-based competitions and games.
- Mathcounts: Membership in MATHCOUNTS is very popular at EAGLE. All students in Algebra and above are welcome to join this group of “mathletes” after school. Students have the opportunity at the local, state, and national levels and few EAGLE students have made their way to the nationals.
- Math Olympiad is designed for younger students, grades 5 and above. EAGLE students work individually and as teams compete along side over 150,000 students from all 50 states and about 35 countries.
- Our Math Club meets weekly after school and is geared for students currently in Math 4 and above.
- AMC 8: The American Mathematics Competition is designed for 8th graders but at EAGLE, it is open to all algebra students and above, regardless of their year at school. The exam is administered every year.
- Madison Area Math League, open to students in Algebra and above, offers fun and challenging events at four Madison area high schools throughout the year.
