After-School Art
EAGLE art teachers occasionally offer after-school classes. Canvas Painting, Clay Club, and Origami workshops have been especially popular. Teacher availability and student interest determine how many art clubs will be offered each year. More information about Art at EAGLE can be found by clicking here.

Chess Club
Participants (Primary and older) will learn about chess through tactics sheets and playing games against other EAGLE students. Younger students (Primaries and Upper Primaries) should have prior exposure to the game and be genuinely interested. Chess participants have the option of competing at the U.S. Amateur Championship North held annually; for reference, here is information about the 2019 Championship

Garden Growers
Intermediate through 5/6 students are invited to get their hands dirty with a variety of gardening activities including starting vegetable and flower seeds that can later be planted in your own garden, growing a salad box, planting a sunflower house, and creating garden arts and crafts.

Origami Club
This after-school club meets at various times throughout the year.  We are currently offering a six-week session for Intermediates through 7/8s with all levels of origami artists welcome!  This session will focus on a variety of origami models to be used as accessories or gifts.  See sign-up sheet for details.

Wednesday Walkabout Club
This after-school club, which is open to 3/4s through 7/8s, offers participants an opportunity to explore and experience many forms of nature from various perspectives.

Inside Out
Open to Primary and Upper Primary students, this after-school club helps children to center themselves and be present in the moment. Participants will practice kid-friendly yoga, discuss their reactions to thoughts and feelings, and discover the peacefulness that is often found in solitary activities.

Talon’s School for Gifted Wizards and Witches
Fans of historical texts about Harry Potter will enjoy performing magic, baking popular wizard treats, and more. For students in Primary through Intermediate.
