Discover the “Trees of EAGLE”

Science teacher Sarah Wright and her students – in collaboration with EAGLE parent Don Settergren, and science teacher John Buchmelter – recently installed twelve signs inviting visitors, and passersby to discover more about the ecosystem around the school grounds. The signs help us do more than just identify trees; they speak about the leaves, fruit, and bark of the trees, and share why leaves change color and why the oak savanna restoration is so important.
