General Announcements

Semester Reports

Semester reports were distributed to students before dismissal today.  (Eighth graders will receive their reports at graduation.) We hope that parents and students will take time together to read the reports and reflect upon the challenges and triumphs of the past semester. Also, please note the addition (or absence) of an “attendance sticker” on your child’s report. Anyone who had less than five absences and less than five tardies received a sticker in recognition of his/her exemplary attendance.

Return Books, Fees, and Registration Forms

Please note that semester reports will be held in the Main Office until all library and classroom books are returned or replacement fees paid. In addition, building and field trip fees, as well as all registration forms must be submitted before reports will be released.

Leaving EAGLE? Download Your Google Drive

If you are graduating or leaving EAGLE, you will likely want to save many of the products you have stored on Google Drive. You must do this by August 1st. To accomplish this task, you will need to download your files from your account, either as a "hard" copy on your computer, or to later re-upload to your personal Google account.
DO NOT simply share your documents with another account, as they will still be deleted on August 1st along with the account that created them.

Graduates Donate Bench

The Class of 2017 is donating a sturdy new bench to be installed near the Auditorium entrance of our school. Many thanks to our graduates and their families. Their gift will be appreciated and enjoyed for many years to come!
Summer Happenings

Summer Office Hours

Someone will almost always be in the Main Office between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, but it is best to call before stopping by. Please note that Woods Hollow Children’s Center uses part of our lower level for their summer daycare program; they do not have access to the classrooms. When entering our building during the summer, please do not cut through their space, as they are very protective of the children they serve. Thank you.

Important Email in Mid-July

In mid-July, all families will receive an email containing orientation details, a class list, instructions regarding the required reading of our school handbooks, ordering information related to student photos and yearbooks, as well as a reminder to check our EAGLE website for school supply lists.

Volunteer in the Library this Summer

If you would like to get ahead on volunteer hours, consider helping in the EAGLE School library this summer. Any amount of time you can spare during the last week of July will be appreciated. To volunteer, please email

Volunteers Honored with EPO Soarin’ Awards

Each school year, four adult volunteers are recognized with Soarin’ Awards, much in the same way EAGLE students are presented with Wings Awards. The EPO acknowledges parents who are not presently on the board but have gone above and beyond to volunteer their time on behalf of the EPO and school community.

We sincerely congratulate and extend our heartfelt appreciation to this year’s fourth-quarter recipient, Robin Sherman, whose efforts have consistently enhanced our EAGLE community--within the classroom, between classrooms, and between EAGLE families. Over the years, Robin has directly supported our students by supervising on the playground, helping with Science Olympiad, chaperoning field trips and Day Away, and coordinating EAGLE's Robotics Team. She has helped parents as well by serving as a Unit Parent, an EPO board member, a committee chair for the spring fundraiser, and eventually, as co-chair of the Spring Family FUNdraiser. With her tenacity, creativity, and great organizational skills, we could always rely on Robin to make any event run smoothly. Thanks, Robin, for so generously sharing your time and talent with us!
